PLCs

Personalised Learning Checklists (PLCS) are a useful revision tool for all KS4 pupils. They can look at the topics/skills for their subjects and self-asses their knowledge/confidence in different topic areas. Topics that they identify as weak (red) should be their starting point for revision. Followed by those that they are somewhat confident in (yellow), and then finally recapping those they are confident in (green).

They can then use different revision methods, such as mind-maps, flash cards, past paper questions, to review and consolidate those topics.

They can review their PLCS at any point during the revision process to re-assess their knowledge and skills. Once they complete assessments or mocks, PLCS also work as a good tool to compare the questions they did well on vs the ones they need to work on.
